Hiking with the Rangæingar Touring Club
Meet at the N1 [gas station] in Hvolsvöllur (Hlíðarendi) at 18:00 to carpool. Drive the route to Hellisvellir. Hike up along Gilsárgljúfur canyon. The hike is approximately 2 hours, 3.8 km, with an elevation gain of about one Hvolsfjall. Drinks and some biscuits provided by the Rangárþing eystra municipality."
