During the festival, an independent jury from another municipality tours the town and picks the best-decorated street and the most delightful garden. No sign-up needed — all you have to do is decorate! The results are announced at the festival. In 2025, Króktún won the award for best-decorated street, and the garden at Öldubakki 1 was chosen as the most delightful.
